Team Protection

Protection settings control how players can interact with each other without changing the rest of survival gameplay.

01

Player PvP

The Player PvP setting controls player-versus-player damage. It does not globally disable environmental damage or normal survival threats.

The victim's setting determines whether player-caused damage is allowed.

02

Indirect Player Damage

OneChunk resolves indirect damage back to the responsible player where possible. Projectiles, TNT, lingering effects, pets, crystals, and harmful splash effects should respect the same PvP protection instead of bypassing it.

03

Helpful Effects

Protection is not intended to block beneficial interaction. Helpful splash effects and normal self-use remain allowed where appropriate.

04

Default Behavior

Player PvP is disabled by default for OneChunk protection even though the underlying Minecraft world can keep its normal PvP gamerule enabled.

GOOD TO KNOW

The setting is specifically about player-caused PvP. It is not a general invulnerability toggle.
